Introducing VMware Workspace ONE Boxer 5.5 for Android

The VMware Workspace ONE team is excited to announce that VMware Workspace ONE Boxer 5.5 for Android is publicly available.

 

What’s New

The VMware Workspace ONE Notebook app brings support for syncing Exchange Notes and Tasks

  • BINXA-9310: Accessibility testing and improvements.
  • BINXA-9291: Workspace ONE Boxer Basic SCEP support for CBA certs validation.
  • BINXA-9286: Multiple emails on a S/MIME cert
    • Now you can use S/MIME certs that have multiple email addresses on them for signing and encrypting emails.
  • BINXA-9386: Accessibility Improvements.

 

Bugs Fixed

  • BINXA-9058: Workspace ONE Boxer crashes while attempting to decrypt S/MIME encrypted emails.
  • BINXA-9394: Workspace ONE Boxer for Android - PolicyAllowActionArchive KVP does not prevent archiving of emails.
  • BINXA-9086: Attachment takes a lot of time to load in Workspace ONE Boxer.
  • BINXA-9513: Workspace ONE Send application does not show up as an option when whitelisted.
  • BINXA-9164: Accessibility: More options messaging is verbose.


Known Issues

  • ASDK-169968: ANR sending clear notification
  • ASDK-170522: ANR while launching Workspace ONE Boxer application

  • Prior Version is Installed: Direct end users to update the app when prompted. The application seamlessly updates over the existing application version without disrupting device enterprise functionality.
  • Prior Version is Not Installed: Direct end users to download it from the Google Play Store.
