Overview
In an effort to strengthen end-user security and privacy, Google has introduced stronger controls and policies requiring third-party apps, such as VMware Workspace ONE Boxer for Android and iOS, that access consumer level Gmail accounts to comply with the new standards that are focused on Gmail APIs.

The original email from Google stated that existing or new Workspace ONE Boxer users will not be able to add new Gmail accounts after March 31st. VMware has rectified the problem with Google and will continue working closely with Google to ensure that there is no service disruption for our end users. Both new and existing users will be able to continue adding personal Gmail accounts to Workspace ONE Boxer post March 31st.
