[Resolved] URGENT-1190: Inaccurate information is present for application data reporting in VMware Workspace ONE Intelligence

VMware Workspace ONE UEM 9.6.0+, 9.7.0+ 



VMware Workspace ONE Intelligence custom reports and sync status pages show inconsistent app counts when compared to the Workspace ONE UEM console due to following issues: 

  • INTEL-7953: Windows or macOS devices returning blank values for app versions or app IDs
  • INTEL-7849: App records which need to be re-processed are stuck in pending state on the database 
  • INTEL-7394: The same app is assigned as Internal and Public 
  • INTEL-8160: App versions have over 100 characters 



We have addressed these issues for Shared and Dedicated SaaS environments as well as for On-Premises environments utilizing Workspace ONE UEM 9.6.0 or 9.7.0 version. URGENT-1190 patch contains a fix for all the issues mentioned above backported to Workspace ONE UEM and 


Customer Impact

Listening to the feedback from our customers, we realized that application reporting is critical to administrators and have taken proactive measures to reduce the impact.

Shared SaaS: Effective immediately, all shared SaaS environments will receive this fix without further actions from the customers. 

Dedicated SaaS: Please contact your account representative or SAM to schedule an upgrade in order to receive the patch with fixes. 

On-Premises: Depending on your environment version please select, download, and deploy the patch from the My Workspace ONE portal.

Fix Version 

This issue is permanently fixed in Workspace ONE UEM and with the patches created for URGENT-1190.
