Introducing Workspace ONE Intelligence October 31st, 2018 Release

The VMware Workspace ONE team is excited to announce that a new update of VMware Workspace ONE Intelligence October 31st, 2018 release is publicly available.


What's New

VMware Identity Manager Analytics

VMware Identity Manager user and event data can now be sent to Workspace ONE Intelligence to enable additional use cases such as, track application usage and adoption, user engagement, and monitor user login success or failure.

You can search for a web or virtual application entitled through VMware Identity Manager on the Apps dashboard to get visibility into how many unique users use that app every day or every month, and how many times it’s been launched historically.

In addition, you can use the My Dashboard > Add Widget feature to create widgets based on User Logins or App Launches data. Use the templates provided or customize them to create the widgets which best serve your organizational needs.

Take advantage of these updates available with Workspace ONE UEM console. Navigate to Monitor > Intelligence and follow the opt-in process to get started. The Workspace ONE Intelligence documentation is available here.


Compatibility, Installation, and Upgrade

On-Premises Customer Prerequisite

Download and install the Workspace ONE Intelligence Connector. Find download and installation instructions in the guide, in the topic “Install the Workspace ONE Intelligence Connector Service for On-Premises.”

These actions enable the Intelligence opt-in within the VMware Workspace ONE UEM console. Navigate to Monitor > Intelligence to access the Intelligence console and technical preview features.
