VMware Workspace ONE is announcing end of support for the VMware Content Gateway for Windows and Linux, effective October 17, 2019. What's New in this SDK Version
- ISDK-172288: Added SCEP support for SDK certificate retrieval.
Beginning with next release of the SDK for Android and the current release (220.127.116.11) for iOS (Obj-C), the Workspace ONE SDK will no longer support the F5 Proxy option. SDK proxying using Tunnel and the standard proxy option will continue to function. If you are building apps today with the Workspace ONE SDK and are utilizing the F5 tunneling mode in the SDK, you will need to investigate replacement options before updating to the new versions of the SDK. Please read the full article for more information on the impact of this change and recommendations for migration options.
Public Android SDK applications deployed from the Play Store require their public signing key to be embedded in the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub (formerly Agent and not yet released) in order for those applications to be trusted and function in a Workspace ONE UEM environment. Administrators deploying Public Android SDK applications will need to ensure the configuration instructions below are followed in order to ensure these apps continue to function once users update to Hub 9.0.

APNs for applications certificates will expire on the Workspace ONE UEM Console on November 26th, 2018. VMware Workspace ONE is updating the network cipher suite supported in the VMware SaaS data centers by dropping support for weak/legacy ciphers. As of October 19, 2018 the vIDM hosted (SAAS) preview environments will remove support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1. This change may require updates to certain client-server and browser-server combinations. For more information please read the full article.
When receiving a rich text format (RTF) email, created using Microsoft Outlook for Windows that has a PDF document embedded, Boxer shows a broken link instead of rendering the PDF as an attachment in the email. Plain text and HTML-formatted emails are not affected. Please read the full article for a full scope of the implications of this issue and workarounds.
Apple devices (iOS and macOS) are being synced from DEP with unexpected model information. This unexpected model information results in devices appearing with an incorrect platform (ex: macOS device shows up as tvOS)
Workspace ONE Intelligence custom reports and sync status pages show an inaccurate count of devices or apps as compared to the Workspace ONE UEM console due to records stuck in a pending state in the UEM Database’s export queue. This issue occurs if the ADP_Export SQL Agent job does not execute for a period of time, either due to it being disabled or absent on the active SQL node.
Workspace ONE administrators leveraging Intelligence in environments containing Windows Mobile devices may notice the Percentage of Devices/Apps imported in the Intelligence Sync Status page does not reach 100%. For a full scope of the impact of this issue and fix versions, please visit the article for more details.
The percentage of apps imported on the Sync Status page will never reach 100% if your privacy settings in the Workspace ONE UEM console are set to “Collect Do Not Display” or were switched to “Do Not Collect” for personal applications.
Workspace ONE Intelligence allows administrators the ability to choose a date/time when reports are generated and sent. The Intelligence interface currently does not specify the time zone in which this schedule date/time is set. Workaround information can be found in the full article.
Workspace ONE administrators may find that, when they install a WiFi profile with Automatic proxy configured on their iOS devices, the profile does not remove the proxy configuration when the profile is updated. More information about this issue including workaround information can be found in the full article.
The "Device Last Seen" results in Workspace ONE Intelligence are different from what is shown in the Workspace ONE UEM Console, as they are only updated after data from the device record has changed. This is expected behavior. More information about the intended function of "Device Last Seen" can be found in the full article.
