Upcoming Changes to Android Productivity App Rollouts, Documentation, and Product Pages


In an effort to enable VMware Workspace ONE administrators to better prepare for Workspace ONE app releases for Android, the Workspace ONE Team will begin publishing product announcements and documentation at the beginning of the app rollout to the store. Staged rollouts occur over an undisclosed period of time, sometimes progressing over weekends. Users who are to receive the update include new and existing customers which are selected at random by Google with no intervention from the Workspace ONE Team. 


Customer Impact

Workspace ONE Administrators will have access to the new product pages once the product is announced and the rollout begins. A reminder message will be displayed in the textbox labeled "Requirements" on the version specific product page while the release is in progress. The APK for the app version will be linked once the app is fully available in the Google Play Store.
