End of General Support for VMware Content Gateway on Windows and Linux


To align with our current content strategy, VMware Workspace ONE is announcing end of support for the VMware Content Gateway for Windows and Linux, effective October 17, 2019. Content Gateways for Windows and Linux provided secure access to customers’ corporate content. We released support for the Content Gateway solution on Unified Access Gateway in 2017 as an alternative to the standalone solution offered on Windows and Linux servers.


Customer Impact

Customers using VMware Content Gateway for Windows and Linux will need to follow the steps outlined in the VMware Content Gateway to Unified Access Gateway Migration Guide here to migrate to the VMware Unified Access Gateway (UAG). No additional purchase is required.
