[Resolved] BINXI-9393: Users unable to log into VMware Boxer for iOS after upgrading to iOS 12

SDK 18.6.4 in VMware Boxer 4.15+ on iOS 12

 

Symptoms

Upon upgrading to iOS 12, VMware Boxer continues to prompt for a user’s email and password even after the correct information has been submitted and displays the following error: 

Unable to Authorize
Boxer was unable to verify your account information. Your username or password may be incorrect.

 

Administrators will find the following error in the Boxer and EAS logs:

Error 401: Unable to authorize error.

 

Workaround

Increase the user’s password length to 8 or more characters. Administrators may also consider increasing the minimum password length requirement to 8 characters or more, however, this change will be applied across all devices using the email server.

 

Fix Version

This issue has been resolved in VMware Workspace ONE Boxer 4.15.2 for iOS.
