Overview
In the upcoming release of Workspace ONE UEM Console (post 9.6), two settings in the SDK App Compliance page (currently located under Settings > Apps > Settings & Policies > SDK App Compliance) will be relocated to the Security Policies page (located under Settings > Apps > Settings & Policies > Security Policies).
These two pages, however, have their own inherit and override settings. To ensure the correct settings remain configured (specifically Compromised detection and Offline Access), admins are encouraged to review the table values below to best understand the changes which will take place upon upgrading.
SDK App Compliance | Security Policies | Values for Offline Access and Compromised Protection Post Upgrade |
---|---|---|
Inherit | Inherit | Set from OG inherited by Security Policies page |
Inherit | Override | Retrieved from OG inherited by SDK App Compliance page and set in Security Policies page |
Override | Inherit | Set from OG inherited by Security Policies page |
Customer Impact
Prior to upgrading, administrators are encouraged to verify the inherited settings between the two pages using the table above and adjust the settings if needed.
After upgrading, VMware recommends verifying the settings under the Security Policies page, specifically for Offline Access and Compromised Protection.
