Beginning August 14th, 2018, VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch) account information will be accessible through My VMware, offering you an improved, unified product license and support management experience. Additionally, your existing AirWatch Green, Orange, Blue, and/or Yellow bundles will be upgraded to VMware Workspace ONE licenses.
What does this mean?
Customers will now have a unique Service Identifier (SID) number which links you to your subscription services. Each account will also have an Entitlement Account (EA) number which groups all services. These ID numbers are important as they will be used at renewal and/or with any service change/upgrade request. Click here to learn more about where to find your SID, and here to learn how to find EA information in My VMware. Additional information on customer numbers can be found here.
VMware terms and conditions (available here) will apply upon renewal or your next purchase, depending on which comes first. SaaS Workspace ONE order transactions will be aligned with other current VMware SaaS offerings such as VMware Horizon Cloud, VMware AppDefense, and VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud. At the time of your next renewal or purchase, previously upgraded services or purchased add-ons will be aligned with your current base subscription term in order to simplify your future renewal process. If applicable, you will also now be able to transact using Hybrid Purchasing Program (HPP)/Subscription Purchasing Program (SPP) credits through the My VMware portal.
How to access VMware Workspace ONE support
Please continue to use the existing processes and access points to log support requests, add users, and grant permissions for the Workspace ONE products. If you have a designated account Procurement Contact or Super User (manager of user profiles for an account), you will now use the My VMware process for adding, removing, or changing capabilities of other users on your Workspace ONE account. Additional information on My VMware and Workspace ONE support can be found here.
