End of General Support for Legacy Product Provisioning

Legacy Product Provisioning will reach End of General Support on September 28, 2018. Existing customers using Legacy Product Provisioning are encouraged to migrate to Apps & Books or Product Provisioning on the Workspace ONE UEM (AirWatch) Console to provide applications, content, files and profiles down to devices. New versions of Workspace ONE UEM (AirWatch) Console released after September 28, 2018 will not support Legacy Product Provisioning.

If you are not using Product Provisioning this does not impact you. Typically, Legacy Product Provisioning was used by customers having Windows Mobile devices. If you have been a customer since 2015, you will not see this feature enabled in your Workspace ONE UEM (AirWatch) Console. 


Implication for Customers

  • Workspace ONE UEM (AirWatch) Console: Migrate Legacy Products to Products. Found under Devices > Staging & Provisioning.
  • Windows Mobile: Upgrade to the latest Windows Mobile Agent.
