In order to comply with best practices from Google as outlined in Enterprise solution sets for Android Management, the Android Agent will be pinned (placed in single app mode) during Android device enrollment. This change ensures that the end user cannot leave the provisioning process until enrollment is complete.
The change will affect all forms of Work Managed enrollments on devices running Android 6.0+.
Prior to enrollment completion, an upgrade to Play Store services is required. This is automatically initiated by the operating system during enrollment. The agent will remain pinned during the duration of this update.
