Symptoms

After upgrading the OS on an Android device or performing a factory reset, the UDID value changes, causing duplicate entries in the same AirWatch organization group. 

 

Workaround

It is recommended to either:

  • Delete stale device records from the AirWatch Console
  • Have devices which have not checked in for more than a set amount of time be automatically deleted.

 

Fix Versions

Our product team has been engaged and is working with Google and our OEM partners for a resolution.
