macOS Agent 2.4.2
After upgrading to macOS High Sierra (10.13), users could experience issues with encryption where AirWatch may prompt multiple times for the encryption key. Upon entering the key and authenticating, the authentication may fail with the error "Unexpected error occurred".
A current workaround is to exclude machines on High Sierra (macOS 10.13.X) from the encryption profile. To do this, install the following XML as a device level custom settings profile to prevent users from disabling disk encryption:
After installing the XML settings profile, recovery keys will no longer be stored in AirWatch. An encrypted High Sierra machine enrolling into AirWatch will continue to be encrypted, restricting users from disabling encryption. An unencrypted High Sierra machine enrolling into AirWatch will not be prompted/forced to enable disk encryption.
This has been resolved in Agent 3.0 for macOS.
