End of Support for Oracle database in VMware Identity Manager

VMware Identity Manager 2.9.x will reach End of Support Life on October 26, 2018, at which point the Oracle database will no longer be supported.  Older versions of VMware Identity Manager will continue to support Oracle until their respective End of Support Life dates.  VMware Identity Manager 3.0 released on August 21, 2017 will not support Oracle.

Implications for Customers

  • AirWatch recommends that in preparation for the official End of Support Life on Oct 26, 2018, customers ensure that they migrate their Oracle database to the Microsoft SQL server database.
