Starting with iOS 11, the query for an Activation Lock Bypass code returns an error code when the code has expired on the device. A bypass code is available on the device for up to 15 days from the time Activation Lock is turned on for the device.
As AirWatch currently queries for the Activation Lock bypass code each time a supervised device is device wiped, this workflow no longer functions as initially designed and the console cannot enforce the device or enterprise wipe commands. This issue only impacts Supervised devices that are updated to iOS 11.
This has been resolved in AirWatch Console 9.2. All SaaS environments will be updated with the resolution for the issue. On-Premise customers can get the patch for their respective versions:
