Native EAS account not configuring on Samsung S8 devices


Native Exchange Active Sync (EAS) is not configuring on Samsung S8 devices.



Enable the phone permission to get the EMAILID by performing the following steps:

  1. Enroll the device and push down the native email client; it will show that it is not supported.
  2. When prompted to enable permission, select enable. If you are not prompted, enable the phone permission by navigating to Settings > Applications > Email > Permissions > Enable Phone Permission.
  3. Reapply the profile in the Agent.

It is also an option to manually configure the email client.
