PowerShell: Email List View Last Request time does not update

SYMPTOM

PowerShell Integration: Email List View is not updating. The last request times for all devices were all days ago.

CAUSE

Depending on situation, this can either be expected or an indication of connection issues.

 

RESOLUTION

Case 1: An enrolled device just syncs or sends emails. The last request time does not update.

This is expected. AirWatch PowerShell doesn’t keep a real-time connection with Exchange to update all users’ commands.

 

Case 2: The device just goes through enrollment. But the email list view didn’t update with the new device information.

This indicates an issue. The action of enrollment will create/update a record for Email> List View. This symptom indicates there is an issue within the AirWatch Database.

 

Case 3: Perform Sync Mailboxes from AirWatch Console and an enrolled device just syncs or sends emails. The last request time does not update.

This indicates an issue. “Sync Mailboxes” will force an update on AirWatch side to match the lastest requst times on Exchange. This is likely to be caused by disconnection between AirWatch and Exchange.
