Error/Symptom

Profile with the credentials payload fails with the error as below.

COMException while submitting enroll request: Bad Data. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80090005)

This error is observed in the Verbosed ACC logs.

Cause

The Certificate Authority is configured to set every certificate status to pending.

Change the settings on the CA as below.

Note: AirWatch requires this setting on the CA. If the first radio button is selected, then Certificate Authority Integration would not work.
