ENS: ENS does not trust CNS (Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel)

Error/Symptom

This is observed in the ENS logs predominantly in a On Premise instance of AirWatch. 

The exact error is as below.

Cause

This is caused because the ENS does not trust the CNS (Cloud Notification Service)

 

Resolution

From the customer admin console of AirWatch, download the Secure channel certificate (for Linux). Create a request with the AirWatch Support team to have this certificate uploaded to the servers within our data centers. This establishes trust between ENS and CNS and resolves the issue.
