Upgrade: Services not starting

Error: 

Some services not starting after Application Upgrade to 8.2 because certain queues were not created.

Log shows: 

Snippet from the logs of a particular service (typically under C:\AirWatch\Logs\Services):

WanderingWiFi.AirWatch.Entity, Version=8.0.0.302, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null]].BeginReadAsync  Begin Read Async error for queue name:awprinternotification, address:.\private$\

 

*** EXCEPTION ***

System.Messaging.MessageQueueException: The queue does not exist or you do not have sufficient permissions to perform the operation.

   at System.Messaging.MessageQueue.ResolveFormatNameFromQueuePath(String queuePath, Boolean throwException)

   at System.Messaging.MessageQueue.get_FormatName()

   at System.Messaging.MessageQueue.add_ReceiveCompleted(ReceiveCompletedEventHandler value)

 

Resolution:

Re-create the queues manually by running  the following command on Command Prompt from the QueueSetup directory (navigate to :\AirWatch\AirWatch 8.2\Supplemental Software\QueueSetup)

QueueSetup.exe –s “awprinternotification”

Confirm that the queues have been created by Navigating to Computer Management > Services and Applications > Messaging Queuing > Private Queues

Restart the services.
