CMAM-172946: Newly enrolled devices are not being assigned applications even though they exist in the Smart Group in some environments - Resolved in AirWatch 8.2.6, 8.3.3

Symptoms

In some environments, newly enrolled devices are not being assigned applications even though they are in the appropriate Smart Group.  Additionally, affected applications will not be visible in the App Catalog if it is deployed to devices.

You will see the following error in Verbosed Change Event Queue Service logs:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Error: 515, Severity: 16, State: 2, Message: "Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'AWEntitySmartGroupAssignmentMapID', table 'tempdb.dbo.#DeviceAppAssignments_______________________________________________________________________________________________0000024A1FD2'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.", Procedure: "InternalAppAssignment_Reconcile",

This issue has been given identifier CMAM-172946.  This issue has been resolved in AirWatch 8.2.6 and 8.3.3.
