[Resolved] AAGNT-176418: AirWatch Agent repeatedly prompts to reset expired password on Samsung devices


When password expiration occurs, the user is prompted to change the passcode as expected, however, once the passcode is changed, the Agent continues to prompt for a new passcode. Any number of retries will generate the same result.  This is an issue in the Android OS that is resolved in Android Nougat 7.0.



For Android devices running Marshmallow or lower, the user will need to set a new password with a different length or quality than the existing password length and quality. It is also an option to re-push the password profile every X amount of days (ex: every 90 days). 



This issue has been resolved in the AirWatch Samsung ELM service 3.0.3.  For non-Samsung devices, this issue is fixed in Android Nougat 7.0 or higher.  We recommend updating the device OS if there is one available.
