Windows Phone applications of file type ".appx" that are present on the AirWatch Admin Console prior to an upgrade to AirWatch 8.2 do not successfully install on Windows Phone 10 (Windows 10 Mobile) devices after the upgrade to AirWatch 8.2. The applications do successfully install on Windows Phone 8.1 devices after the upgrade.
After the upgrade to AirWatch 8.2, the "Package Family Name" is not properly populated for these applications.
After the upgrade to 8.2, you can upload a new version of the application so that the "Package Family Name" is properly populated. This will allow successful install on Windows Phone 10 devices.
Alternately, you can delete and re-upload the application to the AirWatch Admin Console after the upgrade to AirWatch 8.2. However, note that you must remove all active assignments from an application before deleting it, and this process will remove the application from all assigned devices before re-installing it.
