CMEM-180704: Test connection fails at fourth step when upgrading to 8.0.6 SEG - Resolved in AirWatch 8.1

Symptoms

In some Secure Email Gateway (SEG) deployments, the SEG upgrade to 8.0.6 or a new setup of SEG using the 8.0.6 Installer, the test connection fails at the fourth step (Error: SEG to API: hostname not found).

Workaround

Restoring the previous version of the SEG software allows for SEG to continue properly working.

Resolution

This issue has been given identifier CMEM-180704. This issue has been resolved in version 8.1 of the Secure Email Gateway.
