In some cases, the AirWatch Inbox on Android gets stuck in the “Waiting for sync” screen indefinitely when initially syncing. This occurs in cases where, during the initial sync of the device, the mail server responds initially with a 142 (NEEDS_PROVISIONING) or 144 (NEEDS_PROVISIONING_INVALID) response. Inbox will remain stuck on the sync screen and it will never complete the sync unless you reboot the device.
This issue has been given identifier AINBX-184258. This issue has been resolved in version 2.3.1 of the Android AirWatch Inbox.
