AAGNT-174933: Native email profiles do not configure properly on LG G4 devices

Symptoms

Exchange email is not automatically configured in the native client when profile is pushed to LG G4 devices.

  • User is prompted to setup email and enter credentials.
  • They are taken back to the agent without being prompted to complete the email setup.
  • If the email profile is re-applied, the user is prompted to setup email and enter credentials.

Workaround

Profiles utilizing the AirWatch Inbox will configure correctly for LG G4 devices.

Resolution

This issue has been given identifier AAGNT-174933. LG has pushed out an updated version of the OS to carriers that should resolve the issue.
