This is an issue with the Custom Prompt that can be set for DEP profiles that have authentication turned on.
- Users receive an “Invalid profile” error on the initial DEP setup screen before getting prompted for user credentials.
- Users will reach the set up configuration page and receive an error: "The configuration cannot be downloaded. Invalid Profile: DEP.”
This issue is due to an incorrect message ID being mapped to the DEP profile. If the Custom prompt is set to “Off”, the issue should not occur.
This issue has been give the identifier CMDM-188781. This issue has been resolved in 8.0 FP08.
