Introducing VMware AirWatch® Agent v6.3 for Android

The VMware AirWatch® team is excited to announce that AirWatch Agent v6.3 for Android is publicly available. 

What’s New in this App Version

  • Added support for Android Marshmallow (6.0) power management options: App Standby, Doze and Power Saving Mode – This allows the AirWatch Agent to maintain communication with the servers and the AirWatch Admin Console.
  • Added support for multiple EAS clients for different email accounts.
  • Added support for Biometric Authentication with Android Marshmallow (6.0).

How to Download AirWatch Agent v6.3 for Android

  • Prior Version is Installed – Direct end users to update the app when prompted. The application seamlessly updates over the existing application version without disrupting device enterprise functionality.
  • Prior Version is Not Installed – Direct end users to download it from the Play Store.
